OSCEpediatrics is a teaching resource designed and authored by Dr. Tushar Maniar who is Head of Dept., Pediatrics at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai.

OSCE, for the uninitiated, stands for Objective Structured Clinical Examination and is a major part of the D.N.B pediatrics practical examinations.

We have several eminent teachers with decades of clinical experience  like Dr. N. C. Joshi, Dr. Y. K. Amdekar, Dr. R. H. Merchant to mentor us for this website.

On the other hand we have a young talent contributing to the website content in the form of Dr Seema Lokare Dr. Aditi Shah and  Dr. Ninad Maniar.

Various teachers like Dr. Anand Shandilya, Dr. Hiren Doshi, Dr Bharat Dalvi and Dr. Deepak Patkar are helping with teaching material and editing.

OSCEpediatrics, also covers other aspects of Pediatrics exams, e.g., Theory papers , case presentations, updates etc. and So, while the main benefactors of this initiative are D.N.B residents, on a larger scale, M.D./D.C.H. residents and undergraduates are also anticipated to benefit from this resource.

The content available on this site will hopefully also enable teachers and guides to better train their students. This is a new initiative and the hope is that it will flourish into better resource than it currently is.

The website will be updated as frequently as possible. Keeping the above in mind, comments and constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Feedback, particularly from recent postgraduates is extremely valuable to OSCEpediatrics.

If you like this site or have benefited in any way from the content, please be sure to like our facebook page.
